Open invite!

Several of us Oregon guys will be heading up to Steilacoom to hammer the flatfish, dogfish, and whatever other random critters decide to make an appearance. We'll be meeting at 7am on Sunday Aug 7th at the primitive boat launch next to the ferry terminal in Steilacoom. Hopefully be launched by 8.  We fish to the east, out in front of the big park there, for anyone that may show up late, we'll be easy to find. Ive fished here many many times, and almost always have great fishing. I took a large group up there last summer, and everyone had a great time, and hundreds of fish were caught.  I did an open invite for that trip as well, and I got to meet several washington members.
A few of us are staying over night  to fish on Monday as well.  We may fish a different location, just to mix it up, but there's a decent chance we end up back at Steilacoom Monday as well.  If theres anyone who cant make it Sunday, but wishes to fish with us on Monday, just PM me, i'll get your digits, and add you to our group thread and keep you apprised of our monday plans. Hope to see many of you guys and gals out there!

Sunday was all the lil dabs n rock sole ya wanted.  A few rockfish n sharks, and a single starry flounder, thrown in.
Went to Boston Harbor Monday,  much slower there, nothing but sharks n sculpin. I did manage a few small cutthroat tho.
Fun light tackle fishing, sharks on 10# test is a fun fight.
Really wanted some starries tho....
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?

Sea run Coho have been reported in Marine Area 11 as of last week.  I am debating heading out that way to chase some Chrome. Or heading up to MA 5 to chase some rock fish. Best to everyone.
