Title: Side imaging question
Post by: Fugitive on September 29, 2013, 08:59:02 AM
I understand that down imaging transducer can be installed in the kayak with good results, but I am not finding any information on side imaging.   Does the side imaging make any difference on installing the transducer inside the kayak?

I would like to have side imaging, but not sure if its worth having if the transducer has to be external.

This should help.  Some pretty awesome tests done by kykfshr earlier this year:
