Hey Brother AL, good to see you on the board.  Hope you have a Brother in Law as a Lawyer, you will need him. Our regs are longer than CA's(if you can believe that.

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hello world from Bainbridge

BI has some decent coho and pinks, not to mention some Ling fishing with in range of shore.  I am in East Bremerton and have fished out there from my boat. Avoid Agate passage, and the south end of Bainbridge aka Rich Passage.  Both places can get extremely rough on positive high tide days, if you do get stuck in there, ride it out till the far end or head to shore.  There is also some decent crabbing off of North Bainbridge as well (so I am told, I see plenty of traps on Sundays and Mondays(our days to crab in season)).

Thank God, someone else who doesn't pedal.  Glad to have you here.  Have fun in the forum.

Yes, want to stay paddle style to keep costs down. May add a motor for trolling someday, but for now the workout is good!

Recently picked up a Bending Branches Whisper from REI on sale, that helped a LOT compared to the paddle pictured

Nice fish Cam! Those P-Cod are on my bucket list. I've heard mixed opinions about them as table fare: some say they're the best, others say they're pretty wormy. How did your fillet out?

Nice experience. We went from Homer several years ago. It was nice to be able to fish for other species on a halibut trip.
