I've been trying around north Lake Union (where I live) with some 8-12 foot crankbaits, spoons, and some soft baits with no luck. I've been thinking about trying the grassy/mossy areas in Union Bay near UW and the 520 bridge, and I want to head out to Lake Washington too. I'm still new here and new to kayaking, but I am incredibly eager to go out a lot this summer... since we can't do much anyway. How's this season gone so far?

I might try some smaller soft baits and spoons. Not sure how big they get in Union but I'll start small and work my way up. The sound would be awesome! I am inexperienced as an ocean fisherman, only freshwater for salmon, trout, bass, etc.
