I believe Astoria Scuba has the grand prize covered (at least that's what Spot said in a previous post).   Any details Spot?

The second place prize once again is a fine paddle donated by our friends at Outdoor Play.

I don't know if we have a donor for third place or whether we're buying that from the entry fees.

I'm working on the details of the 1st place prize right now.  I'm working on the details but you can rest assured that we'll have another bitchin 1st place prize this year.

I recommend that whoever wins this, keep it tethered to your yak. Don't ask me how I know.

Which VHF channel is going to be used for trash talk during the contest?

I'm not going to be the one doing the gloating, but I find being cajoled by those who engage in bombast and general tomfoolery a splendid pastime indeed. 

If I know what channel ahead of time I won't be sitting on the ramp (morning of) trying to remember what the manual said about adding channels to scanning.

I believe CH 69 is trash talking channel of choice

That's surprising.. with all the business from this site that gets sent in the direction of your bosses shop you would think it would be in his best interest to have a shop rep. at a local event.  Maybe next year
