I still can't access it, starting to bum me out.

Don't know what to say, folks.  I cannot reach it using the Brave browser set to only open secure sites, but I can reach it using Chrome or Safari without requiring a secure connection.  If what you see in the address bar is "https://aoty.northwestkayakanglers.com/" it returns a 404 error, but if what you see is "http://aoty.northwestkayakanglers.com/" it shows up for me.

Perhaps I'm special.  YEA, me!
I expected the worst, but it was worse than I expected...

I may actually need to post a fish one of these days. Guess I'll have to find someone with a phone or PC that can access the page.
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?

I've had a few people ping me about lingering issues. Unfortunately, I don't have any control over any of that, and I'm not sure what to say. Hopefully they work themselves out. AOTY and NWKA are both working well for the majority of people now. Feel free to reach out to me if you're having problems, but I may not be able to do anything about it.

Wasn't working for me for a long time. I installed a different browser (called duckduckgo) and it works. It also worked on the Samsung internet browser, but it wouldn't let me upload pictures. Still doesn't work on Chrome or firefox.

if you update the link from https to http it works.  Just need to update the link.  Once that happens it works in Chrome.

I figured out the same yesterday.  I'm guessing it might have something to do with this..."Google Chrome now auto-upgrades to secure connections for all users".

https://github.com/dadrian/https-upgrade/blob/main/explainer.md

Seems like it might be an easy fix for the NWKA IT talented.  How hard would it be to change the AOTY address from http to https?

What link are we talking about? The link in the NWKA page header is already "http".

I tried it and it still doesn't work for me with Chrome. Even when I type in the address with a http.  The links show http but when I click them it shows https in the address bar. If I delete the s, it still doesn't work.

The AOTY link is a "http".  Chrome is changing it automatically to a https because of the google update (link above), causing a 404 error for me.  If someone could change the AOTY link to a "https", I'm guessing it would work for everyone.

I'm way out of my element here.

This, combined with Zach's info above, are starting to make sense. I don't think AOTY is set up to work with SSL (HTTPS) and I think the browser update (which I do not have) is trying to force the link (which, in the page code is HTTP, not HTTPS) to be HTTPS, hence the problem.

I'll send this on to bsteves. Thanks for the info.

Just a quick update: I confirmed on another system that if you manually prefix the link with "HTTP" in the address bar it works fine, even with the update. And, again, the link itself is encoded as HTTP, it's just the browser that is trying to force it to HTTPS.

This is what comes up when I hit the AOTY Option at the top of page from my desk top.

For the last couple days on my Phone and desktop, both the NWKA and AOTY addresses will occasionally link to the screen shot Jed took.
