August 28th Sunset Bay State Park/Bastendorf County Park

The 2021 Sunset Bay Angler of the Day Kayak fishing Challenge is on! This is a points per inch per species tournament. Same rules and agenda as in years past. Entry fee is $35. Proceeds to benefit Heroes On The Water.  There will be captains bags for the first 50 paid pre-registrations via Pay-Pal (as Friends option) to browneyesvictim@yahoo.com. The group camp site at Bastendorf County Park has been reserved- Contact Brian Hatler ASAP for the few remaining camping spots in the group site, or make your own booking elsewhere (such as Sunset Bay State Park, Bastedorf County Park  or  Bay Point Landing)

After fishing, there will be a potluck dinner and an awards ceremony. We will have a fish fry/taco feed so bring some fillets and a side dish, we always have an awesome feast! THE POTLUCK DINNER AND AWARDS CEREMONY WILL BE AT THE GROUP CAMP SHELTER AT BASTENDORFF BEACH COUNTY CAMPGROUND.

It sure would be cool if I could take a week or two off for this like in years past. Hopefully I can get down there for at least the weekend though. This is a kick ass tournament
