Looking like Thursday is going to be decent ocean conditions. I’m curious if anyone will be out? Debating wether I try to take work off for a little day trip or not.

I was looking at that also, but can't make it this Thursday. Surf height and wind look great!

For those new to PC, there's a shallow spit that's barely submerged. If you put in north near the rocks, straight out from the parking sign, then you should miss it.

I'm watching a guy launch PC right now and thinking "why is he launching so far south, he's gonna hit the spit and bottom out." Sure enough, he paddles about 10 yards, stops, gets out of his kayak in the water, and drags it over the submerged sand.

It's pretty dangerous when you're coming back in. Stay to the north. It's calmer there too.

edit....I just watched a second guy do the same thing and he's struggling to get going in the surf. Be safe.

Sadly I’m watching from my work computer. Looks like a really nice ocean. Hopefully some people post pictures later.

Watching it from my work computer too. It's a lake. Saving that PTO for now until they open salmon retention, although, I would rather be at PC than at work :-) Will hit Drano tonight to recoup.

Went out of Depoe today.
Not even close to being smooth like PC.
Still it was a good morning.
Threw back a small China, a small cabbie and 3 other lings.
