Does he have jigs too or just sinkers?  Fish field has been my go-to for lead as its significantly cheaper than fisherman's.

Fishermans also had some decent unadvertised deals on triangle flashers, pre-rigged herring spinners and prawn spinners

A rare sale on Hobie's if you are looking to pick up a new one:

https://www.nextadventure.net/shop/paddle/kayaks/fishing-kayaks?manufacturer=32246&on_sale=32980

We have them on sale (same prices) at Outdoor Emporium as well.

Do you have Cabela's/BPS gift cards given to you by family burning a hole in your pocket?  Here's a deal.

Spin fish 2 packs, 2 1/2 and 3" for $9.98.  Available in 5 colors, three of which I've caught salmon on.  These things work.  I like them better than Brad's offerings in the small sizes.

Bonus....go through active junky to get 10% back on your order.

If ever in a Fisherman's marine.  Make sure to ask if any good items have been blue tagged recently.  They blue tag items for extreme discounts when they dont sell or have extra stock.  I asked and they alerted me to the 3door octagon danielson crab traps- normally 120  on sale for 30.  I picked up the inventory at the store and called around the other locations with no luck.  These are the same that i picked up: https://www.amazon.com/Danielson-Octagon-3-Door-Ramp-Crab/dp/B003CU77EW .  Keep a lookout for them and ask about the blue tag discounts.

Picked up a few of the cheapy folding danielson's with the sale this week for $18 but that would've been a better find for sure.

i used them this week and the cheap danielsons easily outdid them.  I may keep them for longer soaks as i dont see crab escaping.  Or may flip them and sell the rope buoy and cage for $75 each.

I like the cheap ones mostly because if someone swipes my gear I am only out $40-50 altogether rather than $150+ for nicer stuff. A similarly discounted $50 500ft roll of 5/16'' sinking  line will last me quite a while, the buoys oddly enough are the most expensive component aside from the pot itself. I will say that the "Kayak Crabber" Mckay pot I won from ORC 4 or 5 years ago out "fishes" the cheapies for me for whatever reason, although it's smaller so not quite as much room for crab, if I am going to leave the pots for more than an hour or two I go with the bigger Danielsons.
