Looking marginally doable on Tuesday for Pacific City but I don't fish alone, anyone want to join me? Tillamook bay tides are ripe for an 0600 launch if the ocean don't cooperate. Wouldn't mind just doing the bay either if someone didn't want to hit the big blue, I just want to fish.

Do you think the crazy will have passed by then from the eclipse? Everyone heading home Monday?

I hope they gotta go back to work Tuesday, so do I have any takers?

I'll be in PC all week. I hope to fish every morning that the conditions allow, so if Tuesday is good, I'll be out there.

Had a great day fishing blind with Williamesch and shermanator (I fished with Sherman-William lol) launched at around 0700 cuz I was a little late and not that fast at rigging, thanks for waiting for us you two. . I took 3 good size black rock fish and my kid took 1 ok size, I released a red Irish lord first time catch for me. Had a whale do a couple drive-byes one was 5 ft infront of me while I was trolling good thing I got reverse, kinda freaked my kid out, as it was his first time being that close to a whale in a Tupperware boat. My catch déjouer was what I first thought was a crab pot till I got all the line up and realized I caught an anchor that also had someone's salmon trolling swim bait that they broke off imbedded in the line. Guess that covered my cost of fuel for the day with a bonus of 8 rockfish filets. We bugged out first around 1000 and made it to the beach upright.

That is one cool looking Red Irish Lord, the Silver Anchor Fish is kinda pretty too!

Wow, I just got sucked into a good 30 minutes of looking at different fish pictures. I didn't even know fish with horns were a thing other than a narwhal. :) There are some really cool looking fish out there.
This one seems like the closest match.

It very well could have been. I only saw it from a distance when mojo asked me what I thought it was. Same family at least?
