It's done!

Placed the order today for a dune colored 2012 adventure island, trailer, cradles, and tramps.  Outta be here in 2-3 weeks. Kinda hoping I could see how ya all have your yaks setup so I can get some ideas...

Way to go! Glad to have another Island sailor on the forum. Such a versatile machine, you are going to love it.

Happy to share my experience rigging my TI. So far I've added lots of rod holders, anchor trolley, fish finder mount, etc. and yet to drill a hole.

I've rigged mine and will post some pics soon. The great thing about this boat is it's a real sailor but can also be used with one outrigger or just a yak. It takes some getting used to fish it but it's great once you find out how to do things. Great to have another AI in the house!

Yep. Probably will just rig it as a yak or or w/ outrigger and trampoline. Outrigger style is so far my favorite configuration.

Oooo...nice!  Can't wait to hear the reviews. If I can get my young kids hooked on kayaking an AI it TI was going to be the next wish list item!  Green with envy!!!!

My kids are 10 and I got them each a sit a top kayak from rei so they can learn to paddle and get comfy on local lakes.

Nice!  Mine are 7 and 10. Hope to devise a system to turn my mini x into an oversized outrigger for my outback so I can at least take them out one at a time. Can't wit!
