Title: Any Homer Updates?
Post by: easyyakker on October 16, 2017, 07:30:17 AM
I couldn't fish over the weekend, and probably won't get to this next weekend....but, I had to drive to Homer Sunday and saw at least 3 Hobies headed north. The water looked nice. I'm wondering if the colder weather is bringing the fish to the spit. I'm starting to get a strong hankering for some fresh feeder king.

I talked to someone last night who has been powerboat fishing. (This is the guy that won last years Elk's derby.) He has been struggling for fish. He has caught his best fish out in deep water, away from the Spit. He fishes pretty hard and it is has been very slow.
