Lets try this again.
I think Smoke, Dawn, Showa, maybe Ravensfan, me and hopefully some others are ready for a meeting up in the north Seattle area. I'm suggesting a date and time just to get it off the ground, but I'm flexible.
Lets start with 7:30 PM on 1-11-18 at the Hellbent @ 13035 Lake City Way NE, Seattle.
Seems to be one night was better for Ravensfan if he can make it?
I met him there before and it's a nice place. If anyone wants to come, maybe post up if that day and time works or toss out some options. Just come if that works as well, but keep an eye on the final place/date/time. PM me with a phone number if you want a call.

On second thought I have a work conflict and can't make the 11th unfortunately. Let me know if the date changes for whatever reason.

I can get out of work early, and make it on the 11th. However, Sunday and Monday nights work better for me if we want to change it.

I can make it any night at 7:30 and would vote for a Sunday if it allowed others to attend. Lets keep chewing on this so it stays up toward the top.

I would also vote for a Sunday at 730. As long as the Ravens aren't playing! Lol

I probably can't make it on a Sunday due to having Sunday dinner with the extended family, but if that works for everyone else when other days don't go with what works best for the most people. I can catch up with you guys out on the water. :)

Keeping the post alive, it looks like Sunday the 14th at 7:30 is the target, I might show up closer to 7 and pull out by 8:30. Might consider tossing tackle boxes in the car just in case folks have questions about what's working or not.
Maybe another some time by GG.

Gnom, I think I’m free both mornings. Check the shilshole post. Tough south wind and outgoing tide might mean an early launch. I’m wondering about pausing to see how the pm tide swing looks or Sunday for a little later slack high. Hope to give it a try.

Thanks for the note, maybe others can jump in and suggest a moving GTG once a month or so. Not everyone can make everyone, but nice to get to know some folks and share some tips. This one will be north, maybe one to the south near Auburn/Puyallup if someone wants to jump in.
We might also keep the Shilshole/Golden Gardens post alive with winter blackmouth stories as reports can be pretty informative.

It’s been a while but I think we agreed to move it to Sunday at Helbent Correct me if I’m wrong. Not sure who’s still in the hunt so it would be good if folks chimed in. I don't usually drink alone but I’ll take one for the team if needed :spittake:

Even my family dinner that I had a chance of getting out of got preempted by my middle daughter being in gymnastics meet tomorrow night, so no chance that I can make it to this. Hope to catch up with everyone at the next one or out on the water.

Had a nice evening chat with 5 total. Covered some salt and freshwater fishing techniques. Raven and his wife may be the leading catchers:-)
We also had kind of a loose discussion about something that might be called the Flounder Shoot Out. Might try one by the Green Can in Nisqually, or a Camano Island trip or even a Point No Point get-together. With a little weather luck we could even have a fish fry.
Again, really nice meeting everyone. There's some places for one further south if anyone is interested. The Half-Lion brewery would even let us bring a yak in to go over setup questions etc. if anyone is interested. I'll invite anyone else to coordinate if they'd like.

Thanks for setting up this meeting, I am happen to meet you again and new members. I would vote for flounder shootout in Camano Island any time if the weather is good.
