Took a bucket list trip in late February to Pyramid Lake in Nevada with two long time friends.  Tales of wild and unpredictable waters led me to leave the kayak at home.  Turns out the conditions were perfect and I should have brought it along.  Still hooked two beautiful and memorable Lahontan Cutties.  I am determined to go back soon with my Kayak.  A very special place for sure.

Pyramid Lake is a trip I have been wanting to take.  I would have to take the kayak and then settle for the shore fishing if weather didn’t cooperate.  Looks like a blast though.

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

My suggestion is to go there Oct/Nov and apr-jun if you are planning to kayak fish.
