off the water at about 1pm.  Fish checker said like 12-15 kept coho (I don't remember the  exact number.

Rockfish on the other hand were biting as were the little ling.  Between th 3rd and 4th had 59 mixed rockfish with a good number in the 17-19" range, 13 ling mostly right around or just under the length limit and 3 cabs.

Winds came up around 1130 and made things a bit more sporty.  That may have been why some many of the dories left early

...and 5 yaks coming in at 11 :o

I was part of that 5, at 10:30 exactly the wind gust picked up, and it was a washing machine between the rock and the cape, we should have went around, but we limited on rockfish and 1 ling.

Kemfish was on it on the 4th. I was fishing near him most of the day and he outfished me tremendously. Went home with a 25” ling, 3 ack rock and a crab. Released an orange rock since I wasn’t confident identifying it.

Wind came up brutally like others said. All the dorys coming back at once from the north should have been a sign. Great day on the water though with about the easiest surf launch and landing you could hope for in oregon.

There were guys launching a tandem island and fishing. Made me jealous and wish I had mine. Would have made that sporty wind better!

We went to the north side and the tandem island was near us, when the wind picked up they left real quick. Photo somewhat shows the sporty condition on the northside of the rock, but gopro really makes everything looks flat.

It was nice meeting all of you guys.
