When the slack tides coincide with sunrise in front of a healthy river outlet, things happen. So I heard from my friend Polyangler. An 0400 launch on a short night's sleep did the trick. This one doubled over jigging rod precisely at slack tide and led me for a 20 minute tow into open water. Every time (except for the last) that it approached within 12" of the net, it sprinted out another 10 yards of line for yet another run. What a blast and thanks for the location assist from my friends!

Way to go! Rare to see a night shot on the water from this group.
