Through my email I received notice that I had a personal message, but when I go to NWKA homepage it doesn't show any new message.

The two best times to fish is when it’s raining and when it ain’t. -Patrick McManus

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

Quite often when I log in to NWKA on my PC it doesn't act like I have any new messages, even though if I navigate to the "My Messages" I can see messages there I haven't read before.

I don't know if that's the same thing you're describing or not but that's been happening to me pretty much since I joined.

Im thinking it is a problem on my end.  Looking more careful, the pm was from 2016 that resurfaced as a new message in my email.

Sometimes cookies get out of whack for the PM's.  Clear your cookies, or for you advanced users, clear the cookies related to this site.  I think the cookies should have "SMFCookie561" in them.  Note, I've never done selective cookie deletion, so I could be talking out of my you know where.

But I have cleared all cookies when I get these PM mismatches (rare, like once a year), and it solves the problem.
