Title: Is this for just post military or can active duty join this as well?

Hey guys i was wondering i was looking at this for a while and i am totally for the cause.  I think it is great what we as a group do for our veterans in this group.  But my question for the group is is this a program for just veterans  or can active duty members join this as well?

I'm active duty and do as much HOW events and shows as I can. Started out as a participant and now I'm a volunteer and guide

I just purchased a Hobie Tandem Island and was wondering do HOW allow TI in your derby(s)?  I was not able to attend any with my PA14 this last year due to my travels. I will be selling my PA to make room for the TI and to participate in this years events with my TI if allowed, but if they do not I may have to just keep my PA.  If anyone from HOW has got the answer - please reply.

Derby as in our benefit tourneys, or as in our actual events for veterans? The short answer is yes, and yes. Just no sail during the tourneys. If you wanted to take vets sailing during an event it would be super cool though!

As a disabled Vet, my intention is to go out with them a few times as a guest, and hopefully progress to where I can actually help out and be a guide. Organizations like this are a fantastic help to vets.
