Hey Rob,
Any more details on the Rod? I went to the builders website and didn't see much, is it a lamiglas blank or some other type? I love the looks of it and it looks well made.

Thanks!! It really doesn't matter a whole lot, but if you haven't noticed yet I am fairly curious about such things. I will be buying a ticket Friday if there's still some left.

From the third photo down, it's a Rainshadow RCLB70M blank.

Nice rod, someone is going to really enjoy fishing it.

How did I miss that?? Silly me.

From a website I found.

"High tech blend of E-Glass and RX6 graphite. Extra fast actions. Graphite butt provides unbelievable lifting power. E-Glass tip provides extra fast action without compromising strength. Low overall blank weight. Clear gloss finish. Limited lifetime warranty."

Sounds pretty nice!
