Hi, I am new to this forum, but have a request.
I am attempting to start a Heroes on the Water chapter in the N. Flathead area.
Currently, I am teaching a fly tying and fishing class at the Kalispell VetsCenter.
One week we fish, the next we tie flies. If anyone is interested in participating or assisting, please contact me for info.
If you just want to fish or learn fly tying, that is fine also.
We provide materials and equipment. Veterans, disabled vets, family and support people are welcome.
Also, if you ;have an old boat or other gear you don,t need, and would be willing to donate or loan, it will be put to good use.
HOW is a great program for veterans, and I would love to see it established here.
I welcome all our veterans and their caregivers to join us.
Thank you.

Are you doing the fly fishing stuff through Project Healing Waters or on your own?

I hope you find the support you need to get HOW cranked up over there.

Right now we are doing it through our local vet center, but we are trying to expand. We get some assistance from TU folks, and are looking at Healing Waters as well.
