We'll it is getting to be that time of year for me to start thinking what to do, in January!  :D :D
Fishing is good in Thailand!  :P

Last January, on Koi Phengnan, an Island off the east coast of Thailand,  I rented a double Kayak with a crazy Frenchman, we yaked about five or 6 miles to a quite little resort & back, that was only accessible by water... very nice! The waters on the east side of Thailand are very calm most of the time, so it is like being on a calm lake...

If none of you have done Thailand, it is a great country... especially out of the big cities! For a few dollars a day you can eat, drink & sleep in a little cabina on the beach!  :o This coming January, I am also thinking of throwing a trip to Vietnam, where I hear the beaches are great too... I am still waiting to get together with Stephen to give details on where to go! Perhaps that will happen next week end if I make to the Tofino trip, with Snag a but & anyone else of you guys who are going! .

The images below show our kayak & catch.... it took many hours laying them out dry!  ::)

Whoa, Jimbo...great photos as usual.  If you enjoy that kind of beach life and don't mind some of the run down buildings, I'm sure you'll enjoy Vietnam!   ;D Man those sandy beaches brings back so much memories...paradise, wait til I load some of them.  It'll blow you away bro!

What's the good MB size to load photos, is it hard?

There is an 192 KB limit per post.  Typically I resize to 640x480 and that's all that's needed.

Nice pics SnapperJimbo!!!  Some day I'll get around to posting some beach pics from my travels around the world.  Have never been to the beaches in Thailand, although I've been there.  Nor have I ever been Vietnam.

yeah I thought I had it resized to 640, :-[ but was working off my old computer. which was tedious! One of these days, I will have all images copied to the newer computer, but with a 100,000 plus it is a bit time comsuming! I would rather be kayaking or camping!

The Hobie SUV has finally come in, so will be trying it later in the week & hopefully taking on the maiden Voyage to Long Beach with Snuggle but & Victioria padller!

I figured the squid picture would be of interest... the fact the I did not catch one of them ... you probably all figured out... :P But a good fish story all the same! ;)

You did resize to 640x480.  But the SUM of all attachements should be <192KB.  The 2 pics totaled more than 192KB.  That first picture has a lot of detail so it doesn't shrink too small.  The second image is on the large size as well since it has a lot of texture in the sand.  You can almost always get 1 640x480 to be less than 192KB.  I usually just try to attach 1 640x480 pic per post.

So Jimbo ... am I hearing correct that you're picking up a new yak?  Good for you!!!

:o We'll get there with these images!

::) Hopefully we'll have some great shoots from Long Beach / Clayquot Sound to post next week ;D

Yes, if it works out with the Hobie SUV, it will a nice red one!  8) Vic Paddler & I will be stopping at Maple Bay to look & try it on Thursday on our way through to Longbeach. If it does not fit the need I am not sure what I shall do...  :-\
