Today I checked off another bucket list unicorn and taught my nephew how to kayak fish. He is a natural. John H. thanks for the lucky NWKA hat.

Serendipitous. My nephew, Kolby is maturing into a responsible young adult, listens well, values hard work/fishing and shares a harvest to table ambition. He continues to pursue the anadramous from a kayak and has been riding/drifting coastal rivers with me for steelhead years past. Its difficult to capture the beauty of the  true star in the show, the fish, in these moments without a good camera man or fishing enthusiast around to help.
