Send Donations for Heroes On The Water NWest

Running a bit late on posting. But, here is what was collected at ORC 2012

But, I wanted to thank a few people for their Equipment Donations at the ORC.
Special Thanks to the following:
polepole for getting Kokatat to donate a Bahia Tour PFD

OlySpec for donating his Astral Nova PFD Prize
Micah for his Cabelas PFD
Art (Tex) for donating his Scotty Crab Pot Puller
Steelheader for the bass plastics he donated as well as the great prices he gave me for the other equipment and tackle he sold me for HOW NWest I probably got $200 worth of gear for only $85.

Big Ups to INSAYN, Johnny5o for dumping in some coinage in the HOW donation can and for INSAYN going around and taking up some extra donations around camp...you Rock Bro! $66.46 was collected in about half an hour.. Think of what we can collect if I remember to bring out the donation can during the awards banquet.

I'm still looking for more equipment if anyone has anything to donate. We need some trout/bass tackle. Crab Hawks, paddles and rod holders. Even some gift cards so, we can purchase some incidental equipment. Thanks for your Support!

- MTI PFD that I won at last years ORC.
- A half dozen or so Rooster Tail's (used).
- I think I even have some Panther Martins (used).
- A couple of used small rectangular lure/terminal tackle boxes (used).
- A couple dual sided plastic tackle boxes (used).
- I'll make two or three new pool noodle Crab Hawk floats, and toss in the 6 smaller ones that I just replaced on my Crab Hawks today.

I want to give a big thanks to Jim-Dawg for his generous equipment donations to HOW-Portland last week, too. I'm still in NYC but Wobbler's got the bass/trout/sturgeon gear and we will be putting our inventory plans together.

We've now received four sturgeon setups and could use some braid, hooks and terminal tackle.

Thanks to all who've expressed encouragement and offered to loan gear and kayaks as well as join us on the water with our Heroes.

It was my pleasure to throw the rods and reels at such a good cause.  Will be hitting some garage sales this week-end and try and pick up some tackle to throw in as well.  I look forward to when my work season winds down so I can get out there with the Heroes and the rest of you guys.

Yeah that was the plan.  I'll get it to him this week to bring up with him. I pinged my neighbor for more goodies to add to the box.
