HOW-NWest 2012 Chum Run Event

We have another event in the works. We are planning to take some heroes out on Oct 20, 2012 for a Chum Salmon SlayRide.

This event will require a 1:1 Volunteer/Guide to Hero ratio because the guides will need to be anchored and the heroes kayak will be clipped to their guide and released when fighting a fish. So, our volunteer head count will determine how many heroes we will be able to take. We will also need a few extra volunteers to paddle around taking pictures, to help as a guide if another guide needs a break as well as help getting kayaks to and from the water.

I'll know for sure this week if I'm playing war games that day. Possibly have two more participants too. We'll  discuss it at the meeting tonight.

Sounds awesome, if I can make it I will bring the TI and do whatever you need: photos, snack shuttle, anchor point (see photo), etc.
