Anyone planning on a trip out of PC Sunday. I will be launching 6-6:30 and doing a bit of salmon hunting in addition to trying to get some meat for the freezer.

Dunno how the Chinook bite is, but when Coho opens on the 12th it's gonna be a good start to the season. When I was out there last Tuesday I marked a TON of em. water is warming up nicely for bait to be happy. Post a report after you're done on Sunday! I wish I could make it out there but we have family visiting this weekend  :-\

A buddy, my wife and I plan on being there as well. A bit later launch (8-ish?). Probably rockfish only.

I’ll be there around 6:00. The plan is to drop a crab trap, try for a quick limit of lings then pull a flasher around for a while and see what happens

Lings are usually very easy to find at PC. look for any structure in 50+ feet of water and drop a Lancer jig on em ;) most days I usually get lings before the bass! If you need some coordinates to some known and proven areas I will be more than happy to share a few. What you should do is every trip out there, on the way to a previously marked spot where your intend to fish, monitor your fish finder very closely and mark every bit of structure you find. You can pick up so many good areas out there. There's usually at least one good sized one hiding around every reef/boulder you go over.
