The trout bite at American is pretty good right now. The fish are for the most part not the feedlot trout that they will stick in there for opening day and beyond. They are cutting pretty well. Now is the good season before the water maggots (aka Jet Skis) infest in large numbers. Weekdays are nice too. :)

Thanks! It is really nice in the early season. I am still in pursuit of the kokanee there. They are tough to figure out.

Hey Widgeonmangh, I've been marking kokes at 25 feet near the island. Nothing of great size to brag about though, but it is fun if the wind isn't acting up.

I was marking them in my last trip. But getting them to bite was a different story. I will probably be out again on Monday late if I am not exhausted from all the activities of this weekend. Happy Easter.
