Magic Seaweed and weather look okay right now. Tides strong, but wind, swell and waves not bad.
Anyone interested or I am missing a conditions red flag?

at 9am, I'm seeing on MSW: 3' on 9s + 3.5' on 8s at 9am. NOAA has it slightly worse, 5' on 9s + 3' on 9s.
on the bright side, wind looks fine. ;D
swell looks to be easing down into the afternoon, launching about noon and fishing through the 3pm high tide would probably be the best plan for this forecast.

I'm considering Depoe myself...

Thanks Roger,
Going to slow roll the morning with some exercise, breakfast and stop at Englunds. I'm hitting eel lake today and if things don't look right I'll be at one of the other coastal lakes tomorrow.
I have an organize old town PDL 106 if any one is looking for me at the launch. probably start the launch process at 1030-1100

I was looking at the same thing. If forecast holds I will try at noon. I will be in the tan revo

Changing plans. Going to be meeting SDOR2 at Depoe instead. Sunset Bay will have to wait. Maybe Wednesday

Nothing huge today, but lots of fish!
Released at least 20 lings, some legal, most not.
Caught a total of 7 BRFs, 3 greenling, and one sm China.
I was doing my best to target greenling. Light spining gear, 3" gulp minnows...the lings wanted it more than the greens!
Had a bunch of great fights on the light gear, even got the biggest ling of the day (30") on it, but eventually lost all my light leaders n small hooks to the hungry mostly underlings.
Great conditions, good company, no complaints!

it's not just about getting huge lingcod is it... and that big BRF is a tank!
