I'm letting go of a great saltwater-rated fly reel.

It's a Waterworks-Lamson Litespeed G5 (the previous version) for 8/9 weight rods.  This has been my favorite reel for years.  Solid, great drag, and pretty close to carefree.  Rinse it well, let it dry, and you're ready for your next outing

It was recently serviced by Lamson because the paint has worn off the lettering.  They couldn't fix that and instead did a complimentary thorough inspection and serviced (?) the reel.  It's in like-new operating condition, just not as pretty as it once was.

Has unknown yards of 30# Dacron backing - I put on enough to fill the reel when a fly line is attached but I never count the yards of backing.  That's just too obsessive, even for me.

This is a really good reel to get started in the fun and exciting sport of catching fish from the sea on the fly without spending hundreds of dollars on a capable reel.

You can have it for the incredible price of FREE with free shipping to CONUS addresses.  Elsewhere and you get to pay for shipping.

Act now and join the half-dozen (more-or-less) anglers who have discovered the joy of catching rockfish on the fly.

That Nobaddays fellow already sucked it up, Kevin.  You have to get up mighty early on a Saturday to beat him.

I might have another reel that would work for you if I haven't already given it away.  I'll check and let you know.

You get to thank Nobaddays for this one.  He agreed to accept a different reel, so you can have this one.  What a guy, huh?

PM me your address - and be a wee bit patient.  Since Amazon started using those infernal envelopes, small boxes aren't so easy to come by.  It may take me a day to find one.
