That looks like a blast.  Good job guys.

I fished the Kenai from the bank in 2003 and limited out on sockeye. I had no clue what I was doing but, when I could see numbers of fish swimming past my feet, I figured even I could catch a few.   :D

Outback is excellent. I can definitely bactroll in a fast water. I am going to have some hulk like legs soon though!  This opens a whole new world. I Could backtroll but mark and Jammer would have had a hard time. Even in slow water it was hard to go upstream, but even in the fastest water, I could backtroll effectively. Way too cooooooool!

Holy salmon!! If you all are ever near kenai, you've got to look these guys up. They took me along on a trip of a life time yesterday. The river is incredibly beautiful with bald eagles all along the river banks and huge salmon jumping everywhere. Mark and Rudy are super cool guys and seemed to go out of their way at every point to make sure I was getting into fish and having a good time. You can tell these guys are true kayak fishing pioneers up here as everyone we ran into were blown away to see us with fishing poles and kayaks floating and trolling one of the most productive, but unpredictable rivers in the world. My wife's still tells me this morning that I'm smiling ear to ear. Mark and his wife even went out of their way to drive me 20 minutes back to our relatives cabin in Nikiski. Way above and beyond!
More to follow later....
Cheers

Yup...just banking the hours. Yesterday was the first day of no bait restrictions which reduces catch rate by half so I was fortunate to even get the strike. Outback is the KILLER yak for on river fishing! I did manage to slightly tweak a mast on the turbo fins but looks to be an easy fix.
