Normally I'd be filming some wonderful spring fishing trips this time of year but with fishing on hold I am catching up on some subscriber requests. I've had several people ask about what cameras and camera mounts I use for filming. As you will see RAM Mounts make up the bulk of my kayak filming mounts and if you use the discount code "THICKS20" on their website you'll get a 10% discount. Like many regional businesses they are taking a hit from the Covid-19 outbreak and they could use our support.

Hey, not related to your camera set-up but wanted to say thanks for your informative videos. My brother and I are planning to target kokanee for the first time and learned a lot from your series.

Didn't see this until I literally just finishing watching that video, great stuff!  Left you a question on there about audio.

Thank you!  I've been working on camera mounts for a month and this really helps.

When you have the adapter for an external mic (or the power pack) attached to the OSMO, is it still splashproof/waterproof?

I expected the worst, but it was worse than I expected...

Not waterproof but holds up well to splash and light rain. Heavy downpour might be another issue.

Thanks again.  Splash proof would be enough I think.  And now that I've said that, I'm sure I'd do my first rollover as soon as I mount my camera.

Could you tell us what software you're using to edit your videos?  That's the next hurdle for we newbies.

I use IMovie exclusively. I love Adobe Premier but its just too much cash for me.
