I bought one not too long ago. A four piece, 8' trigger stick. Had a real nice feel and balance to it. I bought the four piece because I try to fish whenever and where ever I travel.
Seller advertised a one year warranty, and I have had it less than that. I treat my gear well, as I can't afford to buy new stuff often, and always kept it in it's super nice sturdy case, when not in use.
Used it a couple times, not catching anything. A couple weeks ago, I hooked into my first fish with it, maybe a 5# coho. Light drag, standard setup. Midway through the fight, the handle, which was tucked under my arm, as always, snapped clean off, just below the reel seat.
I messaged the seller, who never bothered to respond. So I contacted Amazon, since I bought it off their site. They said there was nothing they could do about it. While being placed on hold with customer service, I got to looking at reviews. Apparently, I am FAR from the only one who this has happened to. DOZENS of people reported their Goture rods breaking on first fish.
So just FYI, if you're thinking of buying a Goture rod, or any other tackle they make, DON'T, unless you like throwing money away. I actualy cancelled my Amazon account too, due to complete unwillingness to help at all.

Only one phone call to Amazon? Sometimes it takes five or six before they remember they claim they're "customer centric".
Thanks for the heads-up on the rod and the vendor. Always good to know these things.
