We would like to say thank you so much for your support of our chapter to NWKA brother Mojo and the coastal communities of Garibaldi and Tillamook for throwing one seriously great party at the first Tillamook Bay May Day kayak fishing tournament challenge. The numbers are in and between the entrance fees and the bulging raffle tables we were able to receive a check for $1,235.00 that we will put to good use serving our warriors and first responders and their families. For a full recap of the day and to learn more about the fine sponsors that helped make all this go down visit our friend No-Yak's blog at the link below. Thanks for keeping us MooooooViN' forward. (If you don't get the joke, don't worry. It's a Tillamook thing.)  :spittake:

I have to agree with all Ling Banger said.
A fun time was had by all (even if no salmon were caught[damhik] )

Look forward to the later date next year. Maybe that will help ???

Ya did good Shannon---- a great big thank-you
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

The recap on the noyaks site is fantastic - a really great way to communicate and advertise the event. Nice work to everyone involved.
