volunteers for June 25th Lacamas/Round HOW

Howdy folks,

We could use some volunteers for June 25th. We are taking a group of Veterans from the Vancouver, WA VA out fishing.

We'll launch at the ramp just west of Lacamas Lake Lodge conference center.

approximate address of the boat ramp is:

341 NW Lake Rd.
Camas, WA 98607

Volunteers 8:00-8:15.

Without getting into details, to gain entry into this program they are pretty much required to have no other means and no where else to go to get help. Their normal outings are usually bowling or a movie, so they are always pretty stoked to kayak fish. A little bit of support from a handful of volunteers from the community goes a long way with this crew.

Count me in! I hear there are some nice Browns in there.

It's worth mentioning that HOW also has a group license that covers all volunteers. So no WA license required for the Oregonians.

Bump even though I'm not likely going to make this year's trip, last year was fun.

Wish I could make it to this event but had a previously planned camping trip with family. Hopefully there's plenty of volunteers to make it a successful trip!

We just received word that the VA group is coming out at 9:00.

Let's shoot for 8:00 or there abouts for Volunteers.

I'm tied up until about 1500 dropping off company at PDX. I suspect things will be pretty much wrapped up by then...but if you can use another volunteer after that point, I would be happy to come by.

Thank you for the offer. We'll probably be wrapping up around 3:00-3:30. Which is pretty typical for our events.

Navionics says it's called the Heritage Park Boat Launch.
