I went out fishing last night and caught this Hanford Salmon.  They get this far upriver and they're not chrome anymore.  They're still a blast to catch and eat / smoke up fine.  I knew I had a good sized fish when my drag took off screaming.  Hopefully there's a few more of these out there.

Nice sized Chinook.  Drag burners are awesome.  Good to see your adding another layer of slime and blood to the Outback.  I had a college roommate who never washed his deer gutting knife.  Said it was bad luck. Probably applies to a kayak's fish mojo also.

Cleaning is overrated :)  I'll clean it at that end of the season.  A dirty / bloody kayak brings me luck.
