Title: So Cal Yellowtail
Post by: iceman on July 30, 2014, 03:31:50 PM
I started kayak fishing in La Jolla back in the late 90s and it really spoiled me for big game fishing. Moving north 7 years ago,  I make the 90 mile run now every few weeks to get my fix. Funny though when you are not fishing some place regularly your instincts don't seem to put you on the fish the way it does when you fish it often and just know when to zig and when to zag. Yesterday felt like one of those days where everything was in tune. Launched at 5:30 am and landed about 11am.
