Title: Out of state, fishing in Idaho.
Post by: dawg/duck13 on April 16, 2015, 08:09:24 AM
Wondering if anyone can give some tips on fishing Oneida reservoir? I've been staying with a friend here in Blackfoot for a week now. We've got some fishing in, but the snow didn't help much. We're going down to Oneida to try our luck there. I've experienced a lot of first on this trip already, we went up to Island Park on Monday, and well the conditions were less than ideal (for kayaking) the lake was frozen over. We weren't exactly prepared for that, but we punched through some of the ice and managed to land 8 trout. So that was my first time I've fishing. Another first has been fly fishing....I'm starting to get it, but it's a steep learning curve. So, if anyone has any tips, they'd be much appreciated.

Thanks
Bradley
