So it took me a full three months on this strange east coast, but I finally got my first trophy size fish, a new species to me, the sheepshead.  this bugger fights like a champ, after the third or fourth run I tightened down the drag to find it was already all the way down.
Call me FIL THE CHUB MASTER!

Yeah they fight!! Great table fare too!! We used to take edging tools that looked like a straight gardening hoe, and scrape barnacles off bridge pylons to chum them up. Then drop the little crab you find on the shore under rocks on either free line, or with a piece of split-shot on a 1/0 shot shank hook. Never got one that big though!! That's a PIG!!

Video is done, lens fogged up a little during the fight but it isn't too bad.

nope!  for the first month I was still wearing my dry pants and boots, it is HOT here.
