I'm in Spokane but I'd be interested in fishing in Idaho if the out of state license is not to outrageous.

Hey haven't been on the site for a while so I didn't see your post, but if you're still looking for other kayak anglers...
I'm in Sandpoint. Been kayak fishing on Lake Pend Orielle for a few years and I've only seen one other yak angler!

I heard a rumor that there is a bounty for catching lake trout in Lake Pend Orielle.  Is that true?

Use to have a $15 bounty on any size laker.
Send in the head and keep the rest of the fish!

Unfortunately they stopped it last year. :-(

Yup, pretty sweet deal while it lasted!
Had the same bounty for rainbows over 10" too!

Haven't checked this years regs yet, but there was no closed season or limits on lakers as of last season.

You know any spots on the north cda lake to bank fish? I tried fernan and there are only a couple places accessible by car to park and fish.

Since y'all are on a kayak fishing forum talking to each other about fishing from plastic in Idaho, isn't that somewhat like a club ??? Sounds to me like you guys just need to start a NWKA Team come up with a snazzy name, get matching boat stickers, exchange cellphone numbers and go harass the local aquatic species as a team. And remember in Idaho there's no "I" in team because "I" live in Oregon  :banjo:
Once you guys get your team together we can figure out a team challenge we can do from our perspective waters like a AOTY points kinda thing.
