Today I started getting redirected off of NWKA to shoddy websites (e.g. consumernews247.com) without clicking anything. Its happening on multiple computers both Mac and PC although only when running Chrome or Firefox. Apparently no issues with Safari.

Trying to determine if the problem is on my end or the other.

No issues here on my end using Linux (Ubuntu 4.14) and Chrome

I had this happen a few times also. I think it the past it's been when you hover your mouse over a certain type of ad. It just redirects you. I'm not sure if
that's what was happening today, but maybe. I am also using Chrome.

Likely on your end. Someone clicked a link that changed your browser settings.

Chrome, Explorer and Safari all run the site fine for me.  Clicked on the ads and they take me to right places.  I'm suspect that the two of you may have the same malware bug.

I had the same exact redirect last night from this thread on my win7 laptop running chrome, it has never happened before at any other site,  this indicates to me that it is related to NWKA in some way....

I did this thing called a "Google Search" for the term "consumernews247 redirect" and came up with a lot of other forums that are also speculating on what is going on.  It seems this site and a few others have caused a bunch of problems on sites that use Google's AdSense program.  Most of the discussion is very recent and it appears a few advertisers have figured out how to insert redirect code into their Google AdSense ad.  I doubt this is cool with Google's terms of service so hopefully it will be fixed soon.  Until then, I'll PM Allen and see if he can block consumernews247 ads.

Yeah, what Brian says is true.

And I've blocked the offending URL.  If you encounter others, please let me know.
