Anthony and Noah, if you still need people, I'm available (i.e. my wife said it was okay).

We are doing pretty good Brian. We have 14 signed up and about that many volunteers. We always love to have you around.

Thanks to everyone helping out on this one. Should be awesome!

I'll be out of the country for this but I will make a point to go over Nehalem Bay tactics at my clinic tomorrow night. Looks like it's going to be an awesome event!

^^I'm close to this status as well. My wife said it "should be okay".
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

+1 on some terminal gear recommendations and hook regs (2 or 3, barbless or barbed). My wife Karen will be there for any shore duties. I will have an outrigger and outboard for tow or rescue support.

Looks like 9:00 at the state park ramp picnic location, right?  I'm hoping to be out there earlier to drop crab traps...

Also, I'm planning on throwing my crab cooker and a propane tank in...

Typical herring/spinner trolling gear can be effective there.  Barbed are allowed in Nehalem Bay - I believe 3 hooks are allowed, but a typical 2 hook mooching setup should be sufficient.  Note that the daily limit is 2 adult salmon - retention of wild coho is not allowed this year.  Also, chinook had a limit of 1, but that goes back to 2 as of tomorrow...

Volunteers report as close to 09:00 as possible.

Veterans arrive at 10:00.

Planning for 10:30 launch which will give us a little time to ride the tide out before it flips at 11:30.

If we start hooking lots of native coho we can always pinch the barbs.
