Looking at a late July early August 2016 ferry trip up the inland passage to Anchorage for 30th high school reunion. My wife and I want to hit 3-4 stops for 2-3 days each for fishing/hiking adventures. Anyone have recommendations on stops and guides along the way?  This is my first attempt at gathering info and will have to wait on reservations until spring due to an upgrade in the reservation system. Salmon/Halibut/Trout/Dolly Varden on the menu...  Not taking a vehicle.

Guess I should say we're probably starting in Bellingham, WA.

Even though I live up here, I don't know where the stops are going to be. I can help a little more in the Anchorage area. How much time will you have after arriving in Anchorage?

Lived in Anchorage for 16 yrs and never made it down the panhandle myself!  The 30 yr reunion isn't even set yet date wise. So a detailed timeline won't form until later.   Some spots we may hit are Skagway, Ketchikan, and maybe Kake/Petersburg.  Then onto Anch.  I'll be planning more as the new year approaches and ferry schedules become available.

Let's us know your schedule in Anchorage. A few things fairly close by but the best fishing is typically an hour or two out.  Be happy to help!
