I wanna hit all the little lakes in idaho for sure. Maybe later in the year get a washington fishibg license so it opens my options for lakes.

But for now pretty much local.

Had a small mouth on the hook, 10 feet from me, he jumped out of the water and twisted and ripped the hook from its mouth soon as he hit the water.

I was pissed. Aside from that, i caught nothing else but a sun burn :(

I hear they are having a tournament down on Brownlee if any of you N.Idaho guys are interested. ;) Good way to meet some guys from different areas. I know Pdx, Tri-cities, and Boise area will be there.

How do yak anglers compare to boat anglers typically in these tournaments?

Or is it exclusively yaks or exclusively boats or any mixture?

Kayak only fishing for the Brownlee event. Total length of your 3 longest crappie. Will have prize for longest cpr bass. Maybe other categories. As for kayak fishermen vs boaters in tournaments, maybe ask snopro?

Have you seen smiley set the hook? I'm surprised they swim away at all.

Yeah, I been kayak fishing 4-5 years on Lake Pend Oreille.
OK Trident at 13'.
FF, Scotty downrigger, I installed a Bassyaks unit that works great, no vibration, pretty fast, and quiet.
Allows putting out gear easy and fun.
And, I have no connection with Bassyaks.
I also have a long 13' OK two person kayak.
It works great set up for one. Very fast kayak.
I have a Kokatat fishing Drysuit that is too small for me.
It's generous in the body but too tite around my neck.
The large suit was huge. Medium fits but...$350.
Never worn. Brand new, mint.
I also donated Art Glass to the Depot Bay, OR derby 2-3 years ago.
The Rock fish Classic?
I have a couple of friends in Ballard who fish Lake Pend Oreille when things 'heat up' here.
Fish on and keep me in the loop.
