17.3 lbs. King salmon! 2nd place in kayak division of Homer Alaska Elks Derby. My new personal best King salmon. There were half a dozen biologists at the weigh in. They identified it as a hatchery fish. They asked for the head, which has a wire implanted. They are going to let me know where it is from. It was the first and only King of the weekend.
