Well, it isn't as big as a lot of the other fish on the brag board but I was finally able to get my Outback out for the first time yesterday on Rattlesnake Lake (it's only 10 mins from my house) to play around with it a bit as this is my first kayak.

I couldn't resist taking along a rod and one lure and this was my first fish ever from a kayak, not a bad start!

There’s nothing like that first one. “Shit! It’s a good fish!  Now what!”

Nice job and a very nice fish!

That's a beauty.  Your first fish would make my addiction way worse than what I got the first time I landed a fish on a yak.  Congrats!
Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.

That's great! My first was a decent sized trout, also. I didn't know what to do once it was in my lap and I got an inordinate amount of blood on myself and the kayak.

WAY better than my first, which was a little bitty flounder who had the hook so deep I had no way to get it it out (so the little fella became bait strips).  Congrats!

Welcome to the kayak fishing addiction group, I’m mojo jojo and I’m addicted to kayak fishing.

Beautiful first yak fish. Now get your reentry practice down and get all your safety gear in order for the big pond.

Congrats on the first of many!  :banjo:

Did you rub some of that fish blood on your boat?  That's some good fishing mojo!

Awesome rainbow! My first fish from my kayak as well. Bought it mid-June, and have been trying to get on the water as much as humanly possible!
