Nice fish! I caught 0 fish off of Lincoln Park last Sunday (my first time fishing for salmon in a kayak) but I'm going to be better prepared next time.

Awesome stuff! Sounds like a pretty good day on the water to me. And another BC guy to boot!

No whales, just the seal up on the rocks!   Maybe just one fish taco - as he was pretty small. Then again, seeing how much they charge in the store.....

It doesn't matter how many fish or the size of it- the 1st fish from a kayak of the 1st time is the one that lives in our memory forever....

I take it from your nym that you've surfed before? I'm 49 years old but I still remember my first wave as a 10-year-old grom in Waikiki. Little Styrofoam job my mom got me at Pay-n-Save. Used it as a skimboard at first - it broke in the middle at one point which actually made it quite flexible afterward (the synthetic fabric that encased it held it together). Only rode my first wave maybe 10 or 15 feet but after that I was hooked.   :D

Nice fish!  I'd show you pictures of some of the little fish I've caught (and was happy to have caught them) but I don't have a macro lens for my camera.
I expected the worst, but it was worse than I expected...

I started a little later like 15 years ago(like when I was 40) and haven't look back since.
