I wanted to give my opinion on the Hobie Vantage Accessory Bag (aka seatback bag).  I have had this bag for a couple years now, but I never see anyone out with them or any write ups on this site.    This small bag attaches to the back of the vantage seat (and works with other seats too).  It can hold 2 3600 size tackle boxes plus a couple extra things, essentially if you are single species fishing you can get all your gear in it and out of the way.   It sits in a location that is otherwise wasted and keeps your gear out of your seating area, but is easily accessible to reach back and grab something.  Best of all it has a zip top and is attached to seat securely so it reduces chances of losing something if you flip.

Only con is really price.

Thanks for the review. Does it get in the way when you put your Hobie cart wheels upside down in the scupper holes?

I've had one of these for the last 7 months or so and after I got it I was kicking myself for waiting so long!  I put my rain jacket/windbreaker in it along with my sunscreen, sunglass case and various other stuff I think I might need.  It is water resistant for light rain but not waterproof as I noticed after I was practicing self rescue but I didn't really expect it to be.  All in all very glad I finally bought one.

I dont use a scupper cart so I cant answer that. My guess is it would depend on boat model and seat recline position.  It sticks about 4 or 5 inches back from the back of the seat so should be easy enough to estimate.

I don't put the wheels in the scupper holes either, if I have to bring them with me I just put them under the rear deck bungie.

I should add a caveat to my answer, this is on a 2015 Outback and 2020 Outback.  YMMV.
