Garage sale/swap meet?

Just an idea I've been mulling over....

I have goodly amount of tackle/accessories/tools I am looking to sell or trade. I'm fairly certain I can't be the only one.

I know we all live in different areas of the state, that's the hard part.

So I guess I am wondering if anyone else would be interested in planning some sort of get together, to sell n trade gear, put faces to names, plan some outings....

Any thoughts would be most appreciated!

One option is to donate it to HOW (Hero's On-the Water).  You can gain some good fishing Karma points. 

Maybe you could do it virtually? It would be a pain to haul all the spare crap i have, just to haul some/most of it back home again.

I have considered this idea as maybe a type of fundraiser for HOW. The Portland and North Coast HOW chapters over the years have received donations of stuff that we'll probably never use. Find a church basement or grange hall and charge $10 or $20 per table?? Find some local companies that tie up their own gear/spinners/rod builders that might want to participate. Maybe the folks at Project Healing Waters might have stuff they want to unload as well??? I have a lot of stuff just stacked up in my garage that someone could use.

What do you have?  I am starting to build up my salt collection and might be interested in bottom/salmon/surf stuff you have..... I could use a couple of salmon trolling rigs, rock fish jigs, weights, and plastics.  Just a few of my needs.

A brand new Baofeng UHF radio, that I just can't figure out
New car top rails with two sets of J mounts
New Ram ball mount for Lowrance Elites
Two new RAM ball mounts for Lowrance Hook2 5"
Assorted ultralight spinning reels
Assorted Rapalas and other brand crankbaits
A funky but functional old crab trap, IF I end up getting two of those new McKay traps.
