Well, Allen sine you insist, here's the intro..

Yak fished with a friend of mine in SE Washington and had a ball. Recently retired and ready to fill up my extra time. Have been boat walleye fishing and have done fairly well, but the increased challenge of kayak walleye fishing sounds fun. We have two Costco kayaks and enjoy floating the Columbia and Yakima, but my ADD kicks in and I think I would like fishing while kayaking. I'm looking for a pedal fishing kayak, haven't run across one yet...

I'm from Nebraska, grew up bass/crappie/bluegill fishing on Nebraska lakes (therefore the Big Red!) in canoes.

Anyway, you sound like a bunch of fun folks, hope to meet some of y'all sometime.

Welcome!

Not sure if you do the FaceBook thing, but there is a group called TriCityKayakAnglers (TCKA) for your area.  Might be worth checking out as well as this fine forum.

Welcome to the NWKA.  Can't imagine you coming from Nebraska with your Big Red1 handle.  What part of Nebraska are you from?  I have about three years before I can pull the plug on retirement (but can fish in the meantime).

I am also from Nebraska, I grew up in a the small town of Fairmont, and now reside in the Tri-Cities.  When you are ready to hit the water, shoot me a message - I would be happy to spend some time on the water with another Husker.
