As of right now, NOAA forecast for Depoe bay area looks great.
Wondering if anyone wants to get some lings n rockfish, launch at Depoe or Fogerty.

That'd be my preference, but I could be persuaded to go for springers and or smallies on the Willy, nice weather projections there too.
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?

I really want to go Thursday, but I may need to make it Wednesday which is not quite as good of a forecast. I have to move all of the furniture out of my mother in laws rooms as she is getting new carpet on Friday. FUN!

considering going thursday if I can get work off and a buddy can get free of his commitments too.  swell worsening on friday needs to be watched but hopfully holds good on thurs.  I would be out of depoe since launching the Tandem Island would be a pain at Fogerty

Still looking good for Thur.
Leaning towards a Fogarty launch, though it would be the first time for me.
Anyone else going have a preference?

I think I am good for Thursday as long as I make it a short day. I think I will try to be on the water by 7 at Fogerty and hopefully off by 11. I think I will only bring Ling gear and just go big. If I don't bring small stuff I can't do the one more drop deal for rockfish.
I have to get the furniture moved from 2 rooms at mother in law's house for new carpet Friday morning.

Not gonna lie, the launch and return are a little more difficult. You do also have to deal with sand in all your stuff when you are done.

I went out of Pacific City this morning, hit the water about 6:45.   Lots of dory boats were heading out.   Northwest breeze was already there.   C&R'd a couple of cabezon and one underling. Didn't find any black rockfish until I got to the west side of the rock where I found a limit.  Picked up one legal ling.   Whale was milling around for a short bit.  Good day on the water.

Someone in a PA14 lost a drive in the surf when they did a yard sale.   Keep an eye out.
"A venturesome minority will always be eager to get off on their own,
and no obstacle should be placed in their path;
let them take risk, for God sake, let them get lost, sun burnt, stranded, drowned,
eaten by bears, buried alive under avalanches -
that is the right and privilege of any free American."

Does "yard sale" stand for someone with sticky fingers walking by or didn't have a tether hooked up to the drive and lost it over the side? I am not up on all the vernacular. ???
