So I need to buy a better kayak hauling  system .
I normally use my big truck but that is not here.

What is the best “J hook” system for my kayaks?
I normally launch from the backyard but I have to drive about 40 minutes or so  to get to the better grounds for nicer fishing.

I already have the cross bars cross bars on my CR-V
I have hauled them 10 miles but it was sketchy at best on my CR-V.
The wife wants a j hook system so we are safe.

What would you all recommend?

Thank you.
Andy.

I used these on my CRV (using the stock CRV crossbars) before I got a trailer. I like them better than fixed J racks because I can adjust the angle to make the kayak ride the way I want. You can also fold the lower side down to make loading easier.
